One of the finest affordable LP's you'll find, this guitar exudes quality and workmanship. In the woodwork stakes, the set neck tonewood construction and ebony fretboard elevate this guitar above cheaper alternatives. Moreover, the cream multi-ply double body binding brings some further refinement to proceedings, as do the abalone block inlays in that ebony board.
 
Sonically, the guitar packs some seizmic punch, owing to its Entwhistle X3 humbuckers. These are a modern humbucker featuring 'blade' poles and ceramic bar magnetics resulting in a highly dynamic pickup that senses across a wide frequency range. It works very well in Parallel mode (unlike most humbuckers) in that it retains a single coil like fluidity, especially in the neck position. It is of course an equally powerful and dynamic bridge unit and it has become the pickup of choice for a number guitar manufacturers.
 
Completing the package, the Grover machine heads and classic tune-o-matic bridge & tailpiece lock the tune in nicely.
 
This guitar is offered in good used condition with only minor wear.
